About Miyu
Miyu is an AI pet health tracker for cats and dogs on iPhone. Here is what it does, what it does not do, and what it costs, in plain words.
- What it is
- An AI pet health tracker for cats and dogs. It helps owners decide whether something is worth a vet visit, and keeps the daily care, vaccines and vet visits in one place.
- What it checks
- Photos of stool, vomit, eyes, ears, skin and mouth, and recordings of a cough, sneeze or laboured breathing. Each check returns one of four care levels: watch, keep an eye, see a vet today, or see a vet now.
- What it does not do
- Miyu is not a veterinarian and never gives a diagnosis. It never says all clear, because a photo or a recording cannot rule everything out. When something looks urgent, it tells you to see a vet.
- Breed check
- Names the breed a cat or dog most resembles from one photo, with the visible features behind the guess. It works on any cat or dog and does not replace pedigree papers or a DNA test.
- Ask Miyu
- A chat that knows the pet's species, age, breed, weight, notes and recent checks, so answers are about that animal rather than a generic search result.
- Reminders and records
- Vaccines, deworming and vet appointments with a date and time, repeating monthly, quarterly or yearly. A health record per animal with breed, weight, birth date and history.
- Price
- Free to download. Daily care, reminders and the red flag list are always free. AI checks come with a monthly allowance; an optional subscription makes them unlimited. Urgent advice is never behind the paywall.
- Platform
- iPhone, on the App Store. There is no Android version.
- Languages
- The app is in English, German and Turkish.
- Privacy
- No account is needed. Pet records live on the phone. A photo, recording or chat message goes to Miyu's server only to run a check the owner starts, and AI features ask for consent first.
